We’re bringing Walmart Global Tech to Bellevue.
From March 2–6, we’re inviting a select group of experienced backend software engineers to join us for an in-person hiring experience built for real technical depth and real connection.
This isn’t a career fair. It’s an opportunity to explore the systems powering our U.S. Walmart Tech platforms — and potentially leave with an offer.

What to Expect
Day 1 – Engineering networking and leadership fireside chat
A full day focused on meaningful technical conversations and connection.
· An inside look at the architecture powering our U.S. omni platforms
· A fireside conversation with senior engineering leaders
· Candid discussion with engineers who have built their careers in Bentonville
· Open Q&A about technical challenges, ownership, and growth
Days 2–5 – accelerated onsite interviews
Selected candidates will participate in focused technical interviews with our engineering teams.

Engineering Role Overview
As a software engineer with Walmart Global Tech in Bentonville, you’ll build and scale backend systems that power seamless digital experiences for millions of people across our U.S. Walmart Tech platforms ecosystem.
From checkout and fulfillment to dynamic user journeys, the services we build connect digital and physical retail at one of the largest scales in the world.

What you'll do...
What you’ll do:• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs to support Walmart’s digital experiences.
• Collaborate with product managers, front-end engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver impactful features and solutions.
• Build scalable and reliable systems that handle large volumes of traffic and data.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while following engineering best practices.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues in distributed systems across environments.
• Contribute to performance optimization, security improvements, and system resilience.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
What you’ll bring:
• 2+ years of experience in Java technologies, Distributed systems and large-scale application development and design.
• Hands on experience Spring Boot, REST, Kafka, Cassandra.
• Experience with a containerization technology and Microservices
• Well versed in CI/CD and exposure to DevOps practices, and monitoring tools.
• Strong adherence to SLDC process and Scrum/agile methodologies
• Work with Java, Multithreading, Data Structures, Algorithm, Design Patterns and develop robust high- performance and scalable applications.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
