The ideal candidate will be a talented leader who is passionate about delivering excellent editorial-style content. You will lead a small team of agency copywriters to produce and sustain instructional, engaging, and impactful materials. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Seller Education, you will play a key role in shaping and executing the strategic vision for Marketplace Learn. This includes ensuring alignment with business objectives, tracking success metrics, and analyzing results to continuously enhance program effectiveness and drive more impactful learning experiences. You’ll make an impact by:- Leading strategic direction and planning: Collaborate with the Senior Manager of Seller Education to define Marketplace Learn’s strategy and vision for future learning experiences. Build cross-functional partnerships with product, engineering, analytics and subject matter experts to identify knowledge gaps and ensure learning solutions meet real needs.
- Coaching a team of content creators: Manage and mentor a team of copywriters. Oversee content production and execution to deliver best-in-class content. Set design standards, style guides and templates to ensure consistency in voice and tone.
- Operating with excellence: Establish scalable and repeatable processes for the creation and maintenance of training materials. Partner with the Marketing Ops Manager to manage the intake process and project prioritization. Regularly audit existing materials to ensure all information is current and aligned with product launches, updates and other stakeholder feedback.
- Continuously improving and innovating: Define clear success metrics for learning programs and leverage analytics, data insights, and seller feedback loops to refine strategies, optimize content performance, and drive measurable impact. Proactively stay ahead of emerging trends in learning technologies, recommending and implementing cutting-edge tools and approaches to enhance engagement and effectiveness.
- Bachelor’s degree in English communications, writing, marketing or related field.
- 10+ years of copywriting experience, preferably in technology, education or eCommerce settings
- 2+ years of managerial experience including vendor management
- 1+ years of content strategy experience
- Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
- Highly skilled in editing and proofreading a wide range of editorial content
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite
- Experience with project management tools like Airtable
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) like Contentstack
- Comfortable using analytical tools like Tableau, Mixpanel, Looker
- You’re a strategist, a visionary, and a writer at heart
- You’re highly organized and capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines without compromise in an often ambiguous and fluid environment
- You maintain high expectations for quality and ensure that all contributors meet established goals and benchmarks
- You’re a self-starter who learns quickly and leverages new digital tools, platforms, and solutions to enhance your work

Bentonville, Arkansas US-30008: The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $155,000.00
San Bruno, California US-08848: The annual salary range for this position is $104,000.00 - $202,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
