Role summary:

The Senior Data Analyst will leverage advanced data management and visualization expertise to support business decision-making and strategy development. This role involves identifying and validating data sources, ensuring data quality, and applying analytical techniques to uncover actionable insights. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to translate complex business challenges into data-driven solutions, while adhering to data governance and quality standards. The successful candidate will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and mentor colleagues, driving excellence in data analytics to support organizational goals effectively.

About the team:

The team supports transportation planning within the Supply Chain organization by developing and maintaining capacity capabilities across networks. Reporting to the Sr Data Analytics Manager, members collaborate closely with forecasting to analyze workload demands and create detailed capacity plans. These plans guide operational and business partners in adjusting resources, including driver and equipment allocation. The team leverages data management, visualization, and analytics to provide actionable insights that optimize transportation capacity. Based in Bentonville, AR, the group emphasizes data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement to effectively support business objectives and operational efficiency.

What you'll do:

• Partner with our data science teams to develop best-in-class capabilities to identify defects programmatically, proactively and intelligently, and enable root cause analysis and case management to eliminate defects.
• Ensure final deliverables are actionable and communicated in a way that drives quantifiable business benefit in terms of improved efficiencies or improved decision making.
• Examples of deliverables could range from data base management, scorecard development, reporting and visualization development and automation, descriptive analytics followed by predictive /prescriptive analytics.
• Partner closely with Finance, Operations, and other key stakeholders. Build productive and positive relationships across the organization at all levels to drive influence.

What you'll bring:

• Strong business communication skills, both written and verbal; with ability to communicate / present to Operations teams, also ability to express complex technical topics clearly ; easily.
• Proficiency in SQL, GCP and Tableau.
• Can effectively synthesize, visualize, and story-tell using data.
• Ability to thrive in ambiguity and often lack of clarity, demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects and tight deadlines.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00-$155,000.00
