Position Summary...

The Senior Manager, Specialty Compliance and Ethics (IP Escalations) leads Walmart’s global intellectual property escalation operations across ecommerce platforms. The right person in this role manages the resolution of high-sensitivity intellectual property escalations involving internal and external stakeholders, ensuring timely, accurate, and effective handling. This person will oversee hybrid teams and drive strategic improvements in enforcement systems, stakeholder engagement, and compliance alignment, prioritizing operational integrity and brand protection in a highly visibility and high impact space.

We partner closely with Legal, Product, Engineering, and international stakeholders to ensure Walmart’s IP controls are effective, scalable, and responsive to evolving risks. What you'll do...

  • Lead global IP escalation operations, triaging high-sensitivity issues and applying sound judgment in complex, sensitive cases.
  • Communicate with brands and senior stakeholders, driving resolution and closing the loop on escalations.
  • Strengthen enforcement systems and SOPs through cross-functional collaboration.
  • Monitor trends and risk signals to ensure timely, risk-aligned escalation.
  • Manage internal and outsourced teams executing escalation workflows.
  • Surface insights from global escalations to inform strategy and improve system effectiveness.


What you'll bring...

  • 3–5+ years of experience in intellectual property enforcement and brand protection.
  • Proven ability to lead, triage, and resolve sensitive escalations end-to-end.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to balance enforcement rigor and business impact.
  • Experience managing cross-functional initiatives and leading hybrid teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • A high degree of ownership and independence—able to lead complex initiatives with minimal oversight and navigate competing priorities.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Expertise in Excel, with the ability to analyze data and trends to inform strategic planning and operational improvements.

San Bruno, California US-08848:The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00-$234,000.00

Bentonville, Arkansas US-30010:The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
