Position Summary...

The Senior Analyst, Specialty Compliance and Ethics (IP Controls), supports Walmart’s brand protection strategy by proactively detecting and mitigating intellectual property risks. This role focuses on implementing proactive controls, enhancing detection tools, and conducting audits to protect customer trust. The analyst works with data to drive automation and continuous improvement, while collaborating cross-functionally with Legal, Product, Engineering, and external partners. Fast-paced, high-impact role with autonomy and ownership.

Our work centers on proactive detection, automated enforcement, and continuous auditing to prevent counterfeit activity and ensure access to safe, authentic products. We collaborate closely with Legal, Product, Engineering, and external partners in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment. With deep experience and a strong sense of ownership, we play a vital role in Walmart’s brand protection strategy.

What you'll do:

  • Design and implement enforcement controls to protect intellectual property across Walmart’s ecommerce platforms.

  • Collaborate with Legal, Product, Engineering, and external partners to ensure controls remain effective and up-to-date.

  • Enhance and maintain detection tools that identify and mitigate IP infringement risks using automation and analytics.

  • Conduct regular audits of IP-related activities to ensure compliance.

  • Recommend improvements based on audit findings and contribute to continuous refinement of brand protection strategies.

What you'll bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field OR 2 years’ experience in compliance, ethics, legal, project management, or related area.

  • 2+ years of experience in e-commerce, compliance, legal operations, or risk management.

  • 1+ year of experience in intellectual property or brand protection.

  • Strong understanding of intellectual property concerns in ecommerce

  • Proven ability to implement enforcement controls and conduct audits.

  • Experience using metrics and dashboards to track and improve controls.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify risk patterns.

  • Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills across technical and legal teams.

San Bruno, California US-08848:The annual salary range for this position is $91,000.00-$169,000.00

Bentonville, Arkansas US-30010:The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00-$130,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
