What you'll do...
The Senior Manager, Quality Assurance – Fashion – Materials is responsible for leading and managing the quality assurance strategy for all materials used in the fashion category. This role ensures that all fabrics, trims, and related materials meet or exceed company and regulatory standards for quality, safety, and sustainability. The Senior Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Development, Sourcing, and Merchandising, to drive continuous improvement and deliver exceptional product quality to customers.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures for all fashion materials.
Lead a team of QA professionals to monitor, inspect, and test materials throughout the supply chain.
Partner with suppliers and vendors to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for material quality issues.
Oversee material testing protocols, certifications, and documentation.
Collaborate with Product Development and Sourcing teams to select and approve new materials.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance material quality, reduce defects, and optimize costs.
Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to material quality and sustainability.
Report on key quality metrics and present findings to senior leadership.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Materials Science, Quality Management, or related field (Master’s preferred).
7+ years of experience in quality assurance, with a focus on fashion materials or textiles.
Strong knowledge of material testing methods, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Proven leadership experience managing QA teams and cross-functional projects.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Experience working with global suppliers and manufacturing partners.
Certification in Quality Management (e.g., Six Sigma, CQE) is a plus.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
