Walmart Marketplace is hiring a Director of Seller Risk and Compliance Communications to uphold our high standards and deepen trust with customers and third-party sellers. In this pivotal role, you’ll develop and oversee a comprehensive compliance communication strategy. This includes educating sellers on our policies, guidelines, and standards, anticipating potential risks areas, preparing proactive communication plans for proactive compliance-related issues and evolving how we communicate policy updates, violations, and compliance requirements to sellers—empowering them to succeed on our platform.What you'll do...
About the team
This is a senior individual contributor role with opportunities to grow and manage others. You’ll be part of our Seller Events, Communication and Marketing org. and join a talented team of communication and marketing strategists, copywriters, designers, channel managers, event experts, and data analysts, all passionate about helping sellers thrive on Walmart.com. You’ll collaborate closely with Seller Risk, Compliance, Global Communications, Legal, and Go-to-Market teams to drive clarity and compliance, directly impacting seller success and customer trust.
What You'll Do…
- Lead communications on compliance guidelines, policies, standards, and enforcement, including system-automated and real-time messages.
- Develop effective strategies to ensure sellers understand and meet Walmart’s requirements throughout their lifecycle.
- Define and optimize cross-functional workflows for urgent issue management and standard compliance communications.
- Evolve real-time and evergreen communication methods for policy changes, violations, and resolution pathways; establish success metrics and drive continuous improvement.
- Advise senior leadership and cross-functional partners to maximize seller compliance and support; serve as a subject matter expert and advocate for sellers and customers.
What You'll Bring…
- 7+ years of experience leading issue, crisis, or compliance communications.
- B2B experience is a plus, but not required.
- Data-driven approach to decision-making, channel optimization, and marketing analytics implementation.
- Deep expertise in building holistic communication plans, including system-automated messaging.
- Strong leadership and partner relationship management skills.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
