About the Role

We are looking for a bold and passionate social media leader to help build the brand one post, reel, or story at a time, developing and curating stories that drive brand engagement, advocacy, and action while supporting omni-channel membership growth.
What you'll do...
- Develop and Execute Social Media Strategies: Craft and implement member-centric social media marketing strategies that align with Sam's Club's broader goals and drive business growth.
- Manage Social Media Operations: Oversee day-to-day social media operations, including multiple, complex, and concurrent projects and campaigns.
- Campaign Reporting and Analysis: Work with the Decision Sciences team and external partners to develop and present campaign reports, learnings, and recommendations for future planning.
- Full-Funnel Strategy: Develop a full-funnel strategy with a priority on brand awareness and mid-funnel consideration, ensuring a social-first approach.
- Expand Social Media Channels: Develop and implement growth strategies for TikTok, Instagram, and Pinterest in a scalable way, ensuring impactful and engaging presence.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with merchandising, creative, executive leadership, engineering, talent, and operations teams to deliver integrated marketing strategies.
- Optimize Current Strategies: Develop a strong approach for working together on content, channels, and tools to optimize existing social media strategies.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Ensure all deliverables and timelines are met by coordinating with stakeholders, and track campaign evolution to capture and execute creative adjustments.
- Monitor and Adapt: Stay ahead of the competitive landscape by quickly adapting to changes in the social media environment and using data to inform strategy, decision-making, and optimization.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience: 7+ years of digital marketing experience in social, content, and performance marketing.
- Media Mix Knowledge: Familiarity with the broader media mix and its influence on social media.
- Analytical Skills: Experience with web-based research tools, methodologies, and digital analytics.
- Media Planning: Strong understanding of media planning, distribution, and content syndication.
- Creative Facilitation: Experience in facilitating and initiating creative thinking in the digital space.
- Education and Support: Ability to educate, ideate, and support planning teams in developing integrated social and content strategies.
- Vendor Relationships: Ability to cultivate strong relationships with third-party content providers, websites, and other relevant vendors/partners.
- Strategic Partnership: Partner with strategic and analytic teams to identify business needs and develop new measurement methods for social and content strategies.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
