As a Recycling Technician I, you will be a part of the warehouse and recycling team where you will be responsible for all facility equipment. This includes overseeing the picking up and disposing of all recyclables, trash, appliances, and electronic equipment that need to be sent out. You will be on a nonstop moving schedule to ensure all equipment is being moved to the correct destination.
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:30 am – 6:00 pm
You’ll make an impact by…
- Performing routine preventive maintenance to ensure safety, proper functionality, and aesthetics of facilities, equipment, or fixtures by following established preventive maintenance schedules and guidelines.
- Inspecting, cleaning, and repairing facilities, equipment, or fixtures.
- Utilizing hand tools, power tools, hoists, and other equipment.
- Determining replacement needs and documenting preventive maintenance activities.
You’ll sweep us off our feet if…
- You have experience with power equipment.
- You have experience working in a Shipping & Receiving department.
- You have previously worked in a warehouse setting.
- You have a great attitude and consider yourself to be a role-player.
- You are adaptable to change.
Required Qualifications:
- Completion of a 2-year Vocational or Technical trade program.
- License in related trade in city and/or state where job is located.
- Using intermediate level functionality of word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software (for example, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Valid Driver's License and Eligible for a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
You will also receive PTO and/or PPTO that can be used for vacation, sick leave, holidays, or other purposes. The amount you receive depends on your job classification and length of employment. It will meet or exceed the requirements of paid sick leave laws, where applicable.

The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00-$35.00*
*The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

Vocational or Technical certification and 3 years' experience in one of the following trades: plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trade or 5 years' experience in one of the following trades: plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trade.Valid Driver's License.
