Senior Director, Intellectual Property and Brand Protection Compliance
Location: Bentonville, AR
Walmart is seeking an experienced and innovative Senior Director of Intellectual Property and Brand Protection Compliance to lead our efforts to protect the IP of brands that sell on our eCommerce platform. As a key member of our compliance team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to prevent and detect counterfeiting, trademark infringement, and other forms of intellectual property theft. You will work closely with legal, risk ops, marketplace, and other stakeholders to drive our brand protection strategy and promote trust in Walmart by brands and our customers.
Key responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive strategies for Brand Portal management, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Represent Walmart's efforts in brand protection in the brand community.
Oversee the development of counterfeit prevention strategy, including policy and rule development, and lead the team responsible for implementing and enforcing IP policies.
Actively engage with internal stakeholders, including tech partners and external sellers, including Brand owners and third-party sellers, fostering a collaborative environment.
Develop and manage the budget for the brand protection program.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks associated with IP infringement and counterfeiting.
Stay up to date with the latest trends and developments in IP law and eCommerce to ensure Walmart's brand protection strategies are cutting-edge and effective.

The annual salary range for this position is $130,000.00-$260,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
