Senior Manager, Program Management
Walmart Data Ventures is looking for an experienced Senior Program Manager who will be central to the continued growth, efficiency, and success of our team by leading the strategy and execution of the product development life cycle for a growing portfolio of data products.
This role requires an exceptional individual who is intellectually curious, enthusiastic, a problem solver, detail-oriented, a self-starter, and can build strong relationships across teams and individuals. The role will have broad exposure across product, engineering, data, operations, sales, marketing, training, account management, and business development teams.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in program and project management (ideally in product operations and software development), stakeholder leadership, and business operations with some experience with data analytics. The ideal candidate will also have experience with enterprise tools such as Airtable and Jira to build standardized processes and ways of working across large teams.
This candidate will have at least one direct report (program manager) with potential growth for a larger team to drive product operations across a growing portfolio of products in Data Ventures.
This role is expected to be in-person at one of the following corporate offices:
• Bentonville, Arkansas
• Hoboken, New Jersey
• San Bruno, California

Responsibilities Include...
- Evaluates program performance by analyzing projections, actual results, and key performance indicators. Collaborates with teams for process enhancement and recommends improvements to leadership.
- Drives informed decision-making by partnering with senior leaders, creating communication strategies, and implementing a program management life cycle.
- Interprets and utilizes information using various analytical methodologies. Develops cost-reducing solutions and recommends program changes based on data.
- Drives program management process improvement by conducting gap analyses, developing improved processes, aligning improvements with company strategy, and overseeing process implementation.
- Executes multiple business plans and projects by identifying needs, communicating plans, removing performance barriers, and demonstrating adaptability.
- Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by mentoring, conducting performance evaluations, and promoting diversity awareness.
- Promotes company policies and ethics by training others, ensuring compliance, and supporting the Open Door Policy.
- Ensures business needs are met by evaluating current initiatives, consulting with stakeholders, applying efficiency-improving suggestions, and supporting community outreach events.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business or related field and 4 years’ experience in project management, compliance, operations management or related area OR 8 years’ experience in project management, compliance, operations management, or related area.
- Experience managing large cross-functional teams and complex projects and programs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in business program management, product operations, technical program management, release management, product strategy, process improvement, merchandising, vendor relations, data analytics, or tech start-ups.
- Experience using the following tools: Airtable and Jira.

San Bruno, California US-08848:The annual salary range for this position is $104,000.00-$202,000.00
Bentonville, Arkansas US-09401:The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00-$155,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
