What you’ll do:

Are you looking for a role that challenges you to develop your business overview, financial storytelling and technical skills on latest technologies? Are you looking to help build impact through high-quality financial analytics and modernizing the way our finance organization functions?

Reporting to the Vice President of Health & Wellness Finance, the Sr. Director – Finance (Health & Wellness) will focus on the optical business and Health & Wellness innovation businesses leading strategic performance analysis, forecasting, annual planning (AOP), and long-range planning (LRP).

How you’ll make an impact:

  • Collaborates and drives the development in partnership with key functional business areas long term strategic financial plans for Health and Wellness Optical and Innovation businesses by partnering with different departments to assess overall Health and Wellness goals; establishing and communicating information about financial targets; identifying and reporting risk levels determined for the overall financial plan; providing actionable insights; facilitating consensus about financial decisions across departments.

  • Manages Health and Wellness Capital portfolio, assessing justifications for new requests, reviewing spend against active projects, providing updates to Senior Leadership on progress and areas of risk. Prepares both short term and long-range capital plans based on business needs, end of life assets in operation and keep the lights on needs.

  • Collaborates with leadership to plan and analyze business Health and Wellness Optical and Innovation performance by identifying gaps between business goals and corporate objectives; providing feedback to leadership regarding risks associated with financial projects; supporting business annual planning processes; and providing insight on relevant historical trends, expected future events, and retail trends. Highlights areas of opportunity and makes recommendations to change financial trajectory.

  • Works in collaboration with Controllership to oversee management of control structures to mitigate risk of financial misstatement by examining and monitoring at different stages; participating on cross-functional teams to develop new processes; ensuring proper controls are present in new and existing financial functions; and working to enhance reporting transparency of company financial systems.

  • Provides strategic input for Health & Wellness business decisions by overseeing the production of complex financial models that incorporate assumptions, expectations, and known risks; preparing presentations and other supporting materials for recommendations; participating in business case presentations to executive management; and communicating forecasts, assumptions, and variances to senior management.

  • Leads global consolidation of the Health and Wellness' financial statements, internal management financial reporting, and financial analysis by ensuring the accuracy and inclusion of financial packs from operations; reviewing and analyzing balance sheet fluctuations; working with in-country financial teams to resolve financial and timing issues; researching items; obtaining and verifying explanations for variances; preparing financial schedules; and completing assigned financial calculations.

  • Provides overall direction by analyzing business objectives and customer needs; developing, communicating, building support for, and implementing business strategies, plans, and practices; analyzing costs and forecasts and incorporating them into business plans; determining and supporting resource requirements; evaluating operational processes; measuring outcomes to ensure desired results; identifying and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; promoting a customer environment; and demonstrating adaptability and sponsoring continuous learning.

  • Develops and implements strategies to attract and maintain a highly skilled and engaged workforce by diagnosing capability gaps; recruiting, selecting, and developing talent; supporting mentorship, workforce development, and succession planning; and leveraging the capabilities of new and existing talent. Participates in talent discussions across Segment Finance identifying talent opportunities and risks. Cultivates an environment where associates respect and adhere to company standards of integrity and ethics by integrating these values into all programs and practices; developing consequences for violations or non-compliance; and supporting the Open Door Policy.

  • Develops and leverages internal and external partnerships and networks to maximize the achievement of business goals by sponsoring and leading key community outreach and involvement initiatives; engaging key stakeholders in the development, execution, and evaluation of appropriate business plans and initiatives; and supporting associate efforts in these areas.

What you’ll bring:

  • You have 7+ years of experience working in the financial domain

  • You have 2-3 years of leadership experience

  • You're a storyteller - a master at making complex subjects easily understood through compelling stories and visuals

The annual salary range for this position is $130,000.00-$260,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
