Operations Manager, Parcel Station Quality

As a Quality Manager, your main focus will be motivating, mentoring and coaching operations teams. As a servant leader, you ensure that operators have the tools needed to succeed for any task during a shift at the highest levels of safety, quality, and performance.
Location: Bentonville, AR
Schedule: Candidates must be flexible to work a variety of hours as business demands, including overnight, weekends and holidays
You’ll make an impact by…
- Leading, managing, and developing a team of start-up analysts
- Managing, coaching, and developing a strong team of Risk Managers.
- Communicating policies and acting as the primary information source for the team.
- Maintaining compliance, consistency, and taking corrective action when needed.
- Supporting all safety programs and OSHA compliance to ensure a safe work environment for all Associates.
- Ensuring procedures are followed for building security and product loss prevention.
- Partnering with the management team to establish and maintain quality control standards.
- Developing performance goals and objectives to achieve customer demand and ensure accuracy and quality.
- Assisting in establishing measurement, reporting and process excellence indicators for effective accomplishment of goals in core processes.
- Managing metric performance tactically and strategically.
- Setting appropriate operational targets and holds them accountable; Owns quality, metrics and business updates for the function.
- Thinking long-term and establishing scalable/modular processes for easy adaptation to business scope changes.
- Assisting in managing complex problems, decisions, and escalations and mitigating long-term risks.
- Proactively identifying tool and system requirements that reduce operational defects and simplifies quality audit process
- Ensuring impact-driven and benefit-driven prioritization of process excellence projects and working with inter-functional teams to streamline processes.
- Identifying and driving process excellence along with operations, process design, ops engineering, and tech teams.
- Assisting in defining operational and quality team requirements to support business launches and managing implementation through partnership with teams across engineering, product management, content acquisition, legal, PR, design, and customer service.
- Partnering with Business and Ops teams to gather feedback/requirements, to support the development of operational models, workforce planning and productivity mechanisms that scale with the business’ growth in volume, complexity, and global geographic dispersion.
- Leading and managing all quality and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Leveraging data to identify and recommend safety, performance, and productivity improvements.
- Executing regular and frequent business reviews to identify defects and support in expert deep diving, identifying process improvements to reduce or eliminate defects driving exceptional performance.
- Consistently seeking to raise the bar in safety, performance, or productivity.
- Building data dashboards and automated reporting catered to various audiences.
Job Requirements:
- Must be able to perform the following tasks, with or without reasonable accommodation:
- Stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours
- Walk in/and around the warehouse with great frequency; many facilities are over a quarter mile in length
- Access all areas of building (ascending and descending ladders, stairs, and gangways safely and without limitation)
- Regularly bend, lift, stretch and reach both below the waist and above the head
- Lift and move items up to 49 pounds
You’ll sweep us off our feet if…
- You have 1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience.
- You can effectively manage, influence, negotiate, and communicate with internal teams to meet organizational KPI performance targets.
- You are a subject matter expert in delivery station operational and process defects.
- You have 1+ year’s years’ experience in process improvement or lean techniques experience.
- You have previous experience in process design/optimization or supply chain optimization.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2+ years of employee and performance management experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Walmart experience
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
- 1+ years of performance and KPI metrics development

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00-$130,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
