What you'll do...

Director, Transformation Portfolio Strategy & Activation: We are actively searching for a Director, Operations transformation that will serve as a key member of the leadership team for Walmart Healthcare Research Institute and be responsible for leading the design and implementation of large-scale programs that enable innovation in clinical trials, research, and the WHRI’s product development. We’re looking for a leader who can not only execute but is adept at creating clarity while pushing forward the art of the possible. To be on our team you must be mission-focused, passionate about bringing clinical research as a care option to communities and understand the potential of leveraging the Walmart infrastructure to transform healthcare research.

  • Deep expertise in healthcare operations and program delivery (clinical research experience preferred)

The annual salary range for this position is $130,000.00-$260,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...

Master’s degree in public health, business, other related area.
Prior work experience with a sustained record of productivity at the strategic and operational levels in the healthcare industry or in closely related health and life sciences fields.
Prior work experience in role requiring extensive working knowledge of healthcare industry and standards.
Prior work experience with large and complex end-to-end program management (from ideation to design to delivery).
Prior work experience in portfolio and/or product management with the successful design, execution, and scaling of new concepts/ innovations.
Prior work experience in data utilization. Prior work experience in client-facing roles. 5 years’ managerial experience.
Prior work experience with budgets and business planning.
Prior work experience in a high-growth environment to build a nascent operational infrastructure.
Prior work experience in a matrixed environment.
