Summit Details

When? Thursday, September 19th – Saturday, September 21st

Where? Our Home Office in Bentonville, Arkansas

Who? Current undergraduate students pursuing a BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Analytics, or other business-related field with a graduation dates between Dec 2024 – May 2027

What’s Covered? The summit is funded by Walmart with flights, hotel, meals, transportation and activities provided by us

Deadline: 9pm CT on September 1st (all students will be notified of their participation status no later than 9/6)

During the summit you will:

• Meet and hear from leaders and associates across our various accounting and finance teams
• Learn about career opportunities in our Accounting Track & Finance & Strategy Track in the Accounting and Finance Development Program (AFDP)
• Attend a wide range of professional development workshops and sessions
• Participate in formal and informal networking as well as social events and engagements
• Explore the Northwest Arkansas area and learn more about the community
• Be invited to interview for a summer 2025 internship or full-time position in AFDP or Global Audit

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. Programs range from high school completion to bachelor's degrees, including English Language Learning and short-form certificates. Tuition, books, and fees are completely paid for by Walmart.

The annual salary range for this position for a 12 month period is $43,888.00-$65,000.00*

*The duration of the internship is generally 11 weeks but can vary based on College/University guidelines.
