Position Summary...

What you'll do...

  • Manage and deliver Electrical Power and Lighting Prototypes, Specifications and Guidance
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for power distribution and lighting design within the Prototype team and to other key stakeholders
  • Organize and present change initiatives to executive leadership team on a monthly basis
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gain alignment on design changes, implementation timing and costs associated with new store, remodel and special projects change initiatives.
  • Work diligently to provide support to key stakeholders on prototypical and non-prototypical designs
  • Support Walmart Engineering Consultant Collectives, developing action plans for improvement when necessary.
  • Evaluate prospective electrical consultant’s potential for success in the Walmart Program.
  • Negotiate and oversee engineering budgets and invoices related to engineering consultants
  • Oversee implementation of approved change initiatives into prototype documents for use by our Architecture and Engineering Consultants
  • Review architectural & engineering prototype documents to ensure compliance with the established design intent of approved initiatives.
  • Oversee prototype engineering deliverables to ensure timely delivery to internal stakeholders.
  • Continuously seek innovative and well developed solutions to internal systems and processes
  • Rigorously evaluate current concepts and develop alternate low-cost solutions
  • Manage the safety, security and integrity of building designs, ensuring compliance with applicable federal, state and local building codes, as well as applicable corporate compliance, food safety and asset management requirements.

  • Have broad experience developing and managing prototypical documents
  • Have knowledge related to generators, PV, EV and arc-flash analysis

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
