Walmart’s People Product and Design organization is focused on transforming the associate experience for our 2.1M associates across diverse segments, geographies, and demographics through consumer-grade AI-driven digital experiences. Our mission is to activate Walmart’s people-led and tech-powered strategy by building people experiences that serve associates across Walmart US, Sam’s Club, Walmart International and Campus. Our portfolio spans all aspects of the associate journey, including talent acquisition, talent management, workforce planning, learning, benefits, compensation, associate listening, time and attendance, core HR, payroll and more. We proudly serve as a key driver of innovation within Walmart's Global People organization, reporting through Walmart’s Chief People Officer. The People Product & Design team at Walmart is focused on creating products that drive transformation and growth.
As a Principal Product Manager in the People Product organization, you will be instrumental in thinking from the associate's perspective and work on 0->1 products that make a lasting impact on the associate experience. We are reimagining the future of HR, leveraging AI to empower associates, making the complex simple, and enabling the Global People organization’s boldest digital ambitions.
Responsibilities:
Define long-term vision and create product strategy for People Products, leveraging internal and external best practices and standards to drive decision making.
Lead with a builder’s mindset and deliver on product roadmap by identifying associates' needs, gathering and documenting requirements, overseeing the development of products by other associates, collecting and analyzing customer, product data, turning insights into actionable priorities and initiatives, defining user and business acceptance criteria and roll out strategy, managing risks and dependencies, and prioritizing product backlog.
Deliver innovative solutions by partnering with business, user experience, engineering, analytics, and design teams and gaining buy-in from executive-level leadership.
Move fast in an agile and iterative team environment.
Qualifications:
Experience in defining product strategy and building customer-facing product experiences.
Customer-obsessed mindset with a focus on understanding the 'why' before discussing the 'what' and 'how'.
Comfortable working with ambiguity and able to collaborate effectively with many stakeholder groups.
Data-driven decision-making skills.
Experience bringing zero-to-one products to market.
Ability to engage at a detailed level across key stakeholders including product, strategy, analytics, and engineering.
Experience working with UX designers to create intuitive experiences.
Skilled at engaging and communicating with executives across multiple domains, both internal and external.
Organized, disciplined, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
You will also receive PTO and/or PPTO that can be used for vacation, sick leave, holidays, or other purposes. The amount you receive depends on your job classification and length of employment. It will meet or exceed the requirements of paid sick leave laws, where applicable.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
