US Omni tech at Walmart Global Tech is focused on deploying enterprise solutions across all our global business markets. The team delivers solutions across various domains like Finance, People, Real Estate, Indirect Spend Management, Manufacturing and Retail. The charter for this organization is to deliver on the goal of Everyday Low Cost (EDLC) by driving efficiency in all the back-office processes, through technology. Combining technologists with business analysts and data experts, we build and deploy solutions that support billions of transactions every month.
Real Estate software development team within US Omni tech organization is responsible for leveraging advanced development best practices to support business in the real estate energy and facilities space.
Walmart has multiple programs and initiatives in the energy space with development ongoing to provide proactive and reactive capabilities for energy management solutions.
Primary goals for an engineer in this area would to contribute towards development of solutions addressing optimal delivery of features that address business requirements of Energy optimization in Walmart to save cost and manage the systems better across 5000+ .
They will be expected to work on some of the new applications & programs being developed internally which are driven to provide outcomes in these areas.

Our team creates reusable technologies to help with customer acquisition, onboarding, and empowering merchants, while ensuring a seamless experience for both of these stakeholders. We also optimize tariffs and assortment in accordance with Walmart's Everyday Low Cost philosophy. We not only create affordability, but we also deliver customized experiences for customers across all channels - in-store, mobile app, and websites. As a part of US Omni Tech, you will build & implement industry defining Real Estate and Energy products to drive differentiated experiences for the associates working in the New Home office campus. What you'll do:
- Lead the troubleshooting of issues with different teams to drive towards thorough root cause analysis
- Interact with Walmart engineering teams across geographies to leverage expertise and contribute to the tech community.
- Engage with Product Management and Business to drive the agenda, set your priorities and deliver awesome product features to keep platform ahead of market scenarios.
- Identify right open source tools to deliver product features by performing research, POC/Pilot and/or interacting with various open source forums
- Deploy and monitor products on Cloud platforms
- Develop and implement best-in-class monitoring processes to enable data applications meet SLAs
- With guidance from Architect, design and build low level designs.
- Lead L3 support for the applications you hold accountability.
What you'll bring:
- Min 7-10 years of web based application development and test automation frameworks and tool building experience.
- Significant industry experience designing web applications with a focus on operational excellence.
- Must have - Good knowledge of core JAVA with hands on development experience in frameworks like Spring, Spring Security, Spring Reactive, Spring Boot based microservcies, Kafka, Rest Assured, Jmeter, API and other frameworks.
- Working knowledge of SQL and NoSQL database technologies (Mongo/Cosmos)
- Must have - Good knowledge of Front-end Development with hands on development experience of React, Node-JS, JavaScript , Redux, GraphQL
- Experience in working with visualisation libraries like plotly
- Knowledge in working with micro frontend
- Strong in concepts like OAuth Authentication and security protocols, multi-threading with good interest in system design.
- Workable knowledge of Azure Cloud Platform /GCP
- Must be well versed in Agile methodology & Software Engineering best practices
- Messaging systems like Kafka, RabbitMQ
- Working knowledge of CI/CD based DevOps implementations
- Strong focus on testing during development
- Keen willingness to learn, experiment, take initiative, and serve our customers
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and presentation skills

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
