Walmart is seeking a solid, analytical, strategic, creative, knowledgeable, and visionary finance leader to join the Walmart Global Technology Finance team as a Technology Finance Director. In this role, you will provide strategic, value-added financial leadership and partnership to the Walmart Global Technology organization. You will lead the Global Tech Central FP&A team to help drive alignment and resourcing planning decisions, aligning the needs of the business to the financial plan for the company, and ensuring the Global Tech financial picture conveys the appropriate resource forecasts to delivery technology solutions across the globe, including headcount, wages, and capital expenditures.
The successful candidate must be able to wear multiple hats, communicate effectively with senior leaders, think multi-dimensional, train and mentor junior team members on technology finance and actively deliver detailed and insightful analysis that will help in critical decision making. The successful candidate must also be able to drive key centralized financial processes, bringing the appropriate amount of rigor and analysis to each stage, while driving efficiencies to the process throughout.
The ability to challenge all aspects of the business in delivering improved performance while maintaining strong working relationships is key to success in this role. Additionally, the ability to understand business trends, foresee financial opportunities and risks, and effectively influence business results is an important part of the everyday. The finance director is expected to provide their independent financial point of view clearly and convincingly. Strong candidates will be comfortable with large amounts of data, able to deal with ambiguity, be detailed and accurate, be organized and possess the interpersonal skills necessary to partner effectively with senior leadership. This person will also go beyond a traditional finance role by being a thought partner, owning and driving the agenda in their area of responsibility, look for cost savings opportunities, and improve accuracy of reporting. This individual will also ensure compliance with company policies and support company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.

Forecasting, Planning and Analytics – Lead the Global Tech planning and forecasting processes with an eye towards delivering a “closest-to-the-pin” view of technology resource spend requirements to meet delivery objectives across the enterprise, while simultaneously identifying areas of opportunity for efficiency.
Transformation – Lead the implementation and automation of our forecasting process transformation, freeing up team resources to spend more time as a co-pilot of the businesses they support. Drive analysis and connect the dots across the organization that unlocks value and drives continuous improvement.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
