Join our U.S. Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Services Team to build and support EHS digital programs for the world’s largest retailer. This role is critical as we continue to develop strategies for a first-class compliance program that effectively mitigates regulatory risk in our retail business. You will support business partners in assessing risk, building corresponding controls, developing training and awareness programs, and assisting our design and engineering teams.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop and manage project plans for digital transformation and digital management of EHS Team programs. Aid SMEs in identifying potential digitization opportunities, identifying potential ROI and risk reduction benefits, and understanding how to meet regulatory requirements when transitioning from paper to digital.

  • Collaborate with Systems Teams and EHS area SMEs to develop and implement automation for EHS Team processes, including identifying requirements for integrations between systems and the business processes around the systems to identify gaps and reduce risks.

  • Manage 3rd party service provider data validation and loading process for EHS Team, including continuous improvement plans for increasing speed of data flow for real time management. This includes data required for regulatory reporting and zero waste data for sustainability reporting.

  • Manage vendor partners for Enviance program management continuous improvement, including identifying the right partner for each project and identifying elements to bring in house to reduce costs.

  • Coordinate with stakeholders to drive effective implementation of Environmental Health & Safety related initiatives in a digital environment

  • Build new Environmental Health & Safety programs

  • Develop data analytics that drive continuous improvement

What you’ll bring:

  • Subject matter expert in Environmental Health & Safety

  • Significant project or information systems management experience

  • A risk management related mindset that balances business needs and urgency when developing systems

  • Strong communication skills and are effective at simplifying technical issues

  • Experience working in cross-functional teams

  • A degree in a EHS related field or have equivalent regulatory experience as an EHS inspector

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field and 4 years’ experience in compliance, ethics, legal, project management, or related area OR 6 years’ experience in compliance, ethics, legal, project management, or related area. 2 years’ supervisory experience. 3 years’ experience using intermediate functionality of Microsoft Office.
