Position Summary...

What you'll do...

As a Scrum Master in Walmart's Enterprise Business Services (EBS) department this role will be an enabler of our vision and support our mission to drive the Finance business strategy outcomes through standardized Agile practices. This position will focus on the delivery of team level deliverables, ensure the planning and prioritization of work, align work to resources and sprint schedules/timelines.

Our team is focused on developing a streamlined, dependable company that includes service operations and technology solutions for Finance, People, and Associate Digital Experience (ADE). We also provide a variety of services such as procurement, supplier portfolio management, merchandising master data, and analytics. From developing HR chatbots and virtual assistants to creating invoice solutions and facilitating legal changes, we help drive efficiency across Walmart globally. In Walmart Global Tech, our Enterprise Business Services (EBS) organization is invested in building a compact, robust organization that includes service operations and technology solutions for Finance, People, and Associate Digital Experience. Our mission within EBS is to enable Walmart's Global Enterprise to spend smartly, act digitally and build trust with associates and shareholders.

What you'll do:

  • Aligns directly to an agile team and manages the day-to-day delivery for the team. This includes projects and operational delivery.

  • Establishes and maintains Agile process for team, facilitates work intake for team, facilitates backlog prioritization, fosters team environment, leads Sprint and PI planning, leads team agile ceremonies (retro/daily scrum), leads continuous agile maturity for team

  • Manages team backlog, manages team working agreement, partners with Project and Program Managers, plans and manages small team level projects, reports on team delivery metrics, removes delivery impediments, manages procurement for team level initiatives



What you'll bring:

  • You have advanced knowledge of Agile principles including the SCRUM methodology and ability to apply them in day-to-day team delivery.

  • Have advanced knowledge of industry Agile project manager toolset (ex. Jira, Confluence, Zoom, Tableau, etc.) and can apply to support daily job functions.

  • You have a demonstrated track record of driving delivery of team level planned activities following a sprint schedule as well as managing multiple low to high complexity projects.

  • Can lead a team through Agile/Scrum ceremonies and achieve desired results.

  • Demonstrates strong leadership qualities with peers and applies managing up principles.

  • Demonstrate sense of urgency and ability to understand when and to whom to escalate.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00-$155,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
