Join the Walmart Labor Legal Team and you will provide day-to-day legal guidance and collaborate with business partners, People partners, and other stakeholders in U.S. Labor and Employment law.

You’ll make an impact by:

· Support the business in U.S. traditional labor law, including providing labor and employment law guidance to business partners in various areas of the U.S. business

· Developing strategies to respond to client's labor law issues and counseling clients regarding legal compliance

· Identifying the need for and directing training

· Develops and fosters relationships as business partners with client by understanding the business goals and objectives, providing business related input

· Providing legal advice to the company by providing clients with an informed understanding of the client's legal rights, obligations, and risks to allow the client to make informed decisions

· Identifying the need for and overseeing outside legal support for business transactions and projects

· Leveraging technology to streamline processes, communication, and workflows

You’ll sweep us off our feet if:

· You’ve comprehensive experience with all aspects of U.S. traditional labor laws and counseling the business on labor matters

· You’re a subject matter expert in employment law

· You’ve substantial, diverse legal experience (ex. combination of in-house, government, leading law firm, etc.)

· You empower your business partners while working collaboratively to achieve cross-functional goals

· You work proactively and leverage preventative measures in the spirit of protecting stakeholders, customers, and employees

· You’ve effective communication skills to interact with senior leadership and stakeholders

· You’re experienced working across tight deadlines, managing multiple projects
