The Senior Lead Counsel for Legal Investigations will lead a group of attorneys, investigators, and paralegals responsible for evaluating enterprise risk related to allegations of misconduct and resulting from significant legal investigations, domestically and internationally, and determining the appropriate resources needed to conduct such investigations. The position will further manage significant legal investigations and provide legal advice and strategic direction to leadership in the organization.

What you'll do:

• Identify, prioritize, and manage risks to the company by defining the strategy for investigations and directing and supervising in-house counsel, outside counsel, and contractors on various issues that arise in legal investigations.
• Identify the need for and directing training within Legal Investigations.
• Provide legal advice to the company by providing clients with an informed understanding of their legal rights, obligations, and risks to allow them to make informed decisions.
• Manage and develop a team of high performing attorneys.
• Collaborate with senior executives on significant risks and pending investigations and seeking authority and obtaining informed consent to proceed with legal investigations.
• Leverage technology to streamline processes, communication, and workflows.

What you'll bring:

• Proven experience leading and managing internal investigations.
• Experience in working with compliance systems and legal teams to manage government inquiries.
• Have substantial, diverse legal experience (ex. combination of in-house, government, leading law firm, etc.).
• Empower your business partners while working collaboratively to achieve cross-functional goals within a corporate environment.
• Have a proven track record of risk identification, assessment, and mitigation.
