Position Summary...
What you'll do...
The role of Senior Director, Global Security Operations, International Support is to serve as a subject matter expert on all facets of security, with particular emphasis internationally. The following provides a brief description of the position functions and responsibilities.
Develops best practices for corporate and field security functions to identify emerging risks and manage areas of concern to the business. Areas of concern include, but are not limited to, political/civil unrest, increased criminal activity, seismic activity, extreme weather, health risks, and incidents with potential business impact.
Develops and implements global security strategies and governance framework to ensure the effective coordination of global security resources throughout the enterprise. Oversees and manages teams responsible for the safety of people and assets, including any cross-functional collaboration needs.
Governs the interaction among global security teams to ensure an effective and consistent approach to security matters in-line with the developed strategy. Serves as a subject matter expert overseeing the development and coordination of programs designed to mitigate risks impacting safety and security.
Creates an environment with workstreams to allow global security to share information and seamlessly collaborate on security matters, to include any travel requirements. Develops relationships with external parties, such as law enforcement entities and security agencies, to promote an effective partnership and atmosphere to aid and support any related work efforts and limit business liability exposure.
Manages a large team to include the supervision of personnel hiring and movement, budget analysis, and training requirements.

You are comfortable building relationships, leveraging internal partnerships with key stakeholders and working collaboratively on a cross-functional team.
You are process-minded and actively seek out opportunities for improved efficiency and effectiveness.
You are a subject matter expert on crisis, disaster, emergency topics and to inform executive leadership and provide appropriate counsel.
You have a proven track record representing the company on emergency and disaster-related topics to external stakeholders including governmental officials.
You have successfully navigated and resolved a large-scale emergency and/or crisis situations, leading a large team.
You have developed mitigation strategies for threat management.
You have a proven track record partnering with local, state and federal entities and organizations to build information sharing networks and relationships.
You have strong verbal and written communication skills and can confidently interact with senior leadership and stakeholders.
