What you'll do...
As the Senior Engineering Manager on the International Real Estate team, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of software engineers in guiding and enabling features using IBM Tririga and building applications used to manage all Real Estate functionalities across multiple markets. You will collaborate and partner with Product managers, UX, Data Scientists, Program Managers, Business teams and other engineering team to build world class systems and applications.
What you'll do:
Provide guidance and lead a team of engineers to build quality software solutions for both internal and external users to use IBM Tririga to manage all the Real estate functionalities like managing construction and remodels, lease management and facilities management.
Ensure Software Quality Engineering by keeping the engineers up to date on best practices, automated code testing, alerts, reporting, and taking a proactive approach to production running app support.
Develop and implement product development strategies using Agile development processes by using iterative and incremental development processes; collaborating between self-organizing, cross-functional teams for requirements and solutions; and promoting adaptive planning, evolutionary development and delivery for rapid and flexible response to change.
Solve business problems by applying data insights, build integrations with other systems to provide end to end solutions using the best technology for that.
Drive the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs; developing and communicating business plans and priorities; removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance; providing resources; identifying performance standards; measuring progress and adjusting performance; accordingly, developing contingency plans; and demonstrating adaptability and supporting continuous learning.
Work closely with the Program and Product Manager, and Scrum Champion to ensure engineering work is pointed and prioritized correctly.
What you will bring:
Strong senior level engineering leadership expertise in medium to large size company.
Prior experience of Implementing IBM Tririga, integration with other product or inhouse built solutions on various technologies and mobile applications.
Proven experience in hiring and mentoring world-class engineering teams.
Leading large scale systems in fast-paced environments.
Cross functional collaboration, working across teams, domains and varied stakeholders across multiple countries.
Experience in working in large teams and using agile methodologies.
Excellent oral and verbal communication skills.
BS or MS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 12+ years of industry experience
