As the Senior Manager of Technology Strategy for Walmart.org, you will be responsible for driving innovation in technology solutions for philanthropic initiatives that make a real difference in our communities and for our associates.

• Technical Savvy: Strong technical skills and the ability to work with a variety of software and hardware solutions. The ideal candidate should be able to assess the feasibility of different technology solutions and make informed decisions about which ones to pursue.
• Passion for Philanthropy: A deep commitment to our company's philanthropic mission and a desire to make a positive impact on our communities. We are looking for someone who is truly passionate about giving back and who can inspire that same passion into others.
• General Manager Skill Set: Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team of engineers, product managers, and other technical professionals. The ideal candidate should be able to develop and execute a vision for the team and be able to work collaboratively with other departments to achieve our philanthropic goals.

You’ll make an impact by:

• Gathering requirements for software development projects, utilizing creative and engaging methods such as brainstorming sessions and user surveys.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams of developers, designers, and project managers to accomplish goals and meet project deadlines.
• Actively seeking feedback from software users, both internally and externally, to inform ongoing development and improvement efforts.
• Challenge the status quo by proposing new and innovative ideas for software features and functionality.
• Staying up-to-date on industry trends and emerging technologies, bringing new ideas and approaches to the development process.
• Celebrating successes and milestones with the team, and working together to overcome challenges and roadblocks.
