What you'll do...

Are you ready to join a team that supports eDiscovery case work for the world’s largest retailer? The eDiscovery manager role is a part of the Global Governance Strategy, Risk & Operations team supporting Global Investigations, Government Investigations, Workplace Investigations, Legal Investigations, and other investigative bodies within the Walmart organization. This role includes the execution of investigation case workflows, electronically stored information (ESI) policies, protocols, procedures, systems, and management of the eDiscovery investigative lifecycle. This position will also heavily focus on Relativity project management support for Walmart’s diverse investigations portfolio, interaction with Walmart’s outside counsel ecosystem, and collaboration with members of Walmart global cross-functional Information Technology teams who support the ESI collection process for investigative matters.

You’ll make an impact by:

  • You have practical and real-world experience with Relativity.
  • You can support a team of investigators or attorneys with workflow design, case-level support, reporting, and portfolio management activities.
  • You have practical and real-world experience providing consultative services to support the entire EDRM, including advising on approaches for eDiscovery scoping and developing review strategies.
  • You have strong presentation, verbal and written communication skills and can confidently interact with senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • You leverage technology tools to identify trends, risks, business needs, and performance barriers.
  • You can conduct technical training and maintain technical workflow documentation.
  • You can balance a substantial workload with advanced soft skills such as time management, prioritization, organization, communication, adaptability, critical thinking, creativity, teamwork, leadership, work ethic, and self-awareness.

You’ll sweep us off our feet if…

  • You have experience with RelOne.
  • You hold Relativity-specific certifications.
  • You have experience with eDiscovery industry tools (for example, Relativity/RelOne, Nuix, iPro, Brainspace, EnCase) and can perform technical troubleshooting within these tools to resolve any questions or errors within the data set.
  • You have experience executing advanced unstructured data analytics (for example, conceptual searches, categorization, machine learning algorithms).
  • You can develop a review protocol and an efficient review workstream with or without the help of a managed document review team.
  • You are comfortable building relationships, working collaboratively, and leveraging internal partnerships.
  • You are process-minded and actively seek out opportunities for improved efficiency.
