Reports To: Director of Performance

Position Overview

UHP is seeking an experienced, mission-driven Assistant Director of Performance to serve as a frontline leader of our performance coaching team. This role blends high-level coaching, team leadership, mentorship, and operational ownership within UHP’s Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) program and broader performance ecosystem.

The Assistant Director of Performance acts as the day-to-day anchor for coaching quality and culture, ensuring consistency in delivery, development of coaches and Graduate Assistants (GAs) and alignment with UHP’s performance philosophy. This position also serves as a critical liaison between the Director of Performance and the coaching staff - supporting execution, problem-solving, and team growth.

This is not simply a senior coaching role. It is a people-first leadership position for someone who values standards, communication, and developing others as much as delivering elite training experiences.

About UHP

UHP is a veteran-focused education and leadership development organization located on an 800-acre campus in Northwest Arkansas. We deliver immersive, 19-day certification programs across fitness, health, nutrition, and leadership, helping service members and veterans discover purpose and build meaningful careers after service.

Our campus includes world-class training facilities, modern housing, a health-forward kitchen, outdoor training environments, and dedicated instructional spaces designed to support deep learning and personal transformation.

As UHP continues to scale, we are building a performance leadership team committed to excellence, professionalism, and sustainable growth.
