Summary of Job Duties:
The Manager, Information and Analysis works within the Operations Support division to provide strategic leadership and operational oversight of the planning, development, and delivery of data-driven insights, internal and external communications and web-based resources for the Facilities Management organization, with a focus on the facility and utility operations divisions. The position will be responsible to drive the development of value-added analytical tools including dashboards, KPI’s, and exception reporting, in coordination with others across institution, to ensure accuracy, accessibility, and ease of use which enhance operational effectiveness and accountability.The position is also responsible to lead the development and enhancement of internally and externally focused web-based content that is user-friendly and compliant with institutional standards. This may include development of social media, SharePoint, newsletters, presentations, and website-based communications and analytical tools.
The position will also lead the departments process engineering efforts to refine, modernize, streamline, and document processes and process improvement, supervise, mentor, and train staff, manage project timelines and budgets, and foster relationships with stakeholders across campus.
Regular, reliable and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Data Analytics, Communications, or related field from an accredited institution of higher education
At least four years or more of experience with data analytics, web development, or communications
Preferred Qualifications:
Supervisory experience
Experience in higher education facility operations, maintenance, or utilities.
Familiarity with FAMIS, UA’s Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
Familiarity with Workday
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Ability to effectively communicate verbally in writing, not only with staff, but with deans, directors, department heads, etc.
Familiarity with Facility Management processes and organization
Knowledge of accessibility and usability standards for digital content
Knowledge of data analysis techniques and platforms
Excellent written and oral communication skills
