Summary of Job Duties:

1. Care for students: Provide mentorship, support, and guidance to students in the Cyber Security program, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
2. Teach 15 credit hours: Develop and deliver high-quality instruction in Cyber Security courses, ensuring alignment with the department's academic standards.

3. Service to department and university: Engage in departmental and university service activities, contributing to the overall academic community.
4. 10 hours in-person office hours: Maintain regular office hours to provide additional support to students, address inquiries, and collaborate with colleagues.

5. Mentor and advise students: Offer guidance on academic and career matters, helping students navigate their educational and professional paths.
6. Advise student academic scheduling: Assist students in planning their academic schedules, ensuring a smooth progression through the Cyber Security program.

7. Other necessary duties: Contribute to curriculum development, assessment activities, and other responsibilities as assigned by the department.

Qualifications:

- Master's or higher degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CompTIA Security+, or CEH are required.
- Proven professional experience in cybersecurity, with a minimum of 2 years in relevant roles.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to student success and academic excellence.
