Summary of Job Duties:

We are seeking a dedicated and creative professional to join our team in the role of Program and Instructional Coordinator, playing a pivotal role in the success of the grant. The role will encompass curriculum development, instructional design, program coordination, and outreach efforts to potential participants, business, and industry.

In this role, the coordinator will closely collaborate with Subject Matter Experts in the field of biomanufacturing and work together to identify key learning objectives, content, and the most effective methods for conveying complex biomanufacturing concepts to learners. Additionally, the coordinator will be responsible for working with business and industry, potential participants, other grant partners, and stakeholders to identify ways to push out the course(s) once completed.

Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.


Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education

  • At least three years of experience working in the area of non-credit/workforce development or in curriculum development or coordination in the field of science

  • Experience in curriculum development preferably within the context of online on-demand courses

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education

  • At least two years of full-time experience in program management within a higher education setting

  • Experience working on grants

  • A background in science

  • Project Management experience

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Knowledge of non-credit programming

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Problem-solving and critical thinking skills and capabilities

  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn and adjust to new systems

  • Ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community and to build solid professional networks and partnerships

  • Ability to work with students on various situations

  • Demonstrated ability in developing and implementing recruiting programs

  • Strong project management and organizational skills

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster partnerships and inclusivity


Additional Information:

This position is renewable annually based on continued need for the position, availability of funding, and satisfactory job performance.


Salary Information:

$65,000
