Summary of Job Duties:
The Supplier Administration Specialist is responsible for the set up of new suppliers and making revisions to existing suppliers in the system. This includes reviewing, analyzing and processing supplier documents, financial forms and third party application and government verifications. This position requires a high level of communication and customer service skills with suppliers and internal departments to ensure accurate information is received and processed accordingly. This position will also research and prepare reports; prepares, processes, examines, and verifies supplier documents; performs general office duties as requested and assigned. Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job function of this job, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.
This position is 100% remote work with residency required in the State of Arkansas; occasional in-office attendance as required.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
The formal education equivalent of a high school diploma; plus at least four years of bookkeeping, basic accounting, billing, or a related field
Applicable equivalencies may be considered on the qualifications listed above.
Preferred Qualifications:
At least two years of experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint demonstrated skills sets) and Adobe
At least two years of experience in a Higher Education office environment
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Knowledge of working with high impact, sensitive data
Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations of assigned section
Knowledge of computers and software application programs
Knowledge of customer service techniques
Ability to record fiscal data and manipulate data to generate complex reports and documents
Ability to conduct research and perform basic quantitative quality assurance reviews
Ability to communicate both orally and in writing
Ability to maintain a high level of attention to detail
Ability to prioritize and and organize large numbers of requests, tickets and emails daily
