Summary of Job Duties:
Function as a liaison between the dean and departments to assess needs; enhance academic standards, and Improve the quality of program services to students (undergraduates and graduates); provide direction and guidance to support STEM initiatives; monitor and implement a comprehensive assessment program within the school; assist with departmental programs' external reviews and accreditations, viability reports, assessment and other data/reports; assist with enrollment management and retention of students; and perform various tasks as deemed necessary for the school's overall success.
Qualifications:
Earned doctorate in one of the program areas within the School of Arts and Sciences; a minimum of three years of teaching experience; previous experience supervising faculty and staff; evidence of significant scholarly work, research, and service; and demonstrate excellence in oral and written communication, and interpersonal skills.
