Summary of Job Duties:

This position reports to the Dean of General Education and is a 12-month faculty appointment. This position may also be eligible for overload during the fall, spring, and summer terms.

This position is responsible for on-ground, hybrid, and online instruction. Specific course assignments are determined based on instructor credentials, availability, and course needs.

This position will work collaboratively with students, faculty, staff, and the community, and teaching across academic programs as appropriate.

Applicant must be committed to supporting community college teaching and student success. Primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

-assessment of student learning
-utilization of the college’s ERP System (Workday) and learning management system (Blackboard Ultra) and other instructional technology
-completion of required general and program specific faculty duties
-collaboration across departments and divisions to ensure retention and completion efforts
-active engagement on shared governance committees and faculty senate
-engage with students regularly In both curricular and co-curricular settings
-engage with the communities and industries partners throughout the UACCB service area
-other duties as assigned

Additional Information

Position is a full-time, 12-month appointment period. Position is not eligible for remote, and will office on the UACCB campus.


Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree from a regionally accredited institution in Psychology or a related field with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in Psychology.

  • Applicable licenses, credentials, certifications, and work experience will also be considered as appropriate.

  • Ability to communicate effectively.

  • Ability to utilize technology effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Doctorate Degree in a related field from a regionally accredited institution

  • Teaching experience in higher education, specifically in the two-year college setting

Salary Information:

$53,000-$57,000, based on level of degree and experience.
