Summary of Job Duties:
The Senior Online Student Liaison’s primary responsibility is to provide student support services for prospective and current online students and coordinate office processes and procedures. This position provides coordination and support within the Online Student Liaison team to provide top-tier student support services for online students at the University of Arkansas. The Senior Online Student Liaison reports to the Online Student Support Manager and plays a key role in office operations and in the success of online students.Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.
This position requires regular in-person work at our offices in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education
Excellent oral and written communication skills
At least one year of experience providing admissions-related customer support to online higher education students
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience providing admissions-related customer support for online students at the University of Arkansas
Experience with Slate or a similar Customer Relationship Management system
Experience working with non-traditional off-campus or online programs and students
Experience with University of Arkansas student support systems and resources
Experience leading projects and meeting objectives
Experience supervising part-time and/or student staff
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Knowledge of the organization and administration of various higher education academic and social programs
Knowledge of state, federal, and campus rules, regulations, and requirements related to campus academic and social programs
Strong analytical skills
Ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, make recommendations, and drive actions
