Hospitality Specialist
The Opportunity
The Hospitality Specialist plays a critical role in delivering the UHP experience. This position ensures our campus environment reflects excellence at every level—clean, organized, and ready to support students, staff, and guests.
Through responsibilities such as maintaining guest rooms and common areas, managing laundry, replenishing supplies, and upholding sanitation standards, this role directly impacts the daily experience of those on campus.
What You’ll Do
Daily Execution
Maintain cleanliness and organization across student quarters and campus facilities
Perform vacuuming, dusting, mopping, disinfecting, and full bathroom cleaning
Replace linens and ensure beds are properly made and presentation-ready
Monitor and replenish guest amenities to maintain a fully stocked and welcoming environment
Execute laundry operations (student, guest, kitchen, and event linens)
Follow and uphold UHP Hospitality SOP standards
Weekly & Scheduled Responsibilities
Complete deep cleaning and detail cleaning assignments
Manage linen inventory, care, and rotation schedules
Support seasonal and project-based cleaning initiatives
Guest & Campus Support
Prepare spaces for guest arrivals and student accommodations
Maintain furniture, fabrics, and campus interiors
Assist with errands and hospitality-related support as needed
Report maintenance or equipment issues to the Hospitality Lead
What We’re Looking For
Experience
Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
Familiarity with cleaning tools, products, and best practices
Core Attributes

Strong communication skills and ability to follow direction
Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to contribute where needed
Requirements
Flexible and available for evenings and weekends as required
Reliable transportation
Physically capable of performing job duties (lifting, bending, standing, etc.)
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
Full range of motion (bending, kneeling, reaching, standing for extended periods)
Ability to move furniture and carry supplies as needed
