Job Details:
We are seeking a highly skilled and results-oriented Manager, IT Procurement to join our Procurement & Supply Chain team. This role will focus on providing sourcing strategies, insights, and procurement support primarily for our Technology department. The ideal candidate will have expertise in developing supplier partnerships, negotiating contracts, optimizing procurement processes, and redlining commercial terms to drive business outcomes. This position will ensure that our Technology teams have access to the right resources at the right time, and at the right cost while mitigating contractual risks.
Key Responsibilities
• Collaborate with Technology stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into strategic sourcing plans that support organizational objectives.
• Develop and manage supplier relationships for software, hardware, databases, cloud services, and other IT products and services.
• Lead sourcing initiatives for the Technology department by identifying cost-saving opportunities, negotiating favorable terms, and mitigating risks.
• Lead and manage end-to-end RFX events (RFP, RFQ, RFI) for IT categories, coordinating cross-functional stakeholders across IT, Finance, and Legal to ensure sourcing events are well-structured, competitive, and aligned with business objectives.
• Redline commercial terms in agreements to ensure favorable outcomes for the organization, ensuring alignment with business goals and compliance with legal and financial standards.
• Analyze spend data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement in IT sourcing strategies.
• Manage the end-to-end procurement process for assigned IT categories, including supplier selection, negotiation, contract management, and performance monitoring.
• Analyze procurement data and market intelligence to identify opportunities — such as supplier consolidation, contract optimization, or cost reduction — and present findings and recommendations to IT leadership to inform strategic decision-making.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders, including IT, Finance, and Legal, to ensure smooth contract execution and compliance with company policies and standards.
• Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to track sourcing and supplier performance, ensuring quality, cost, and delivery goals are met.
• Monitor market trends and supplier innovations to provide strategic insights and recommend sourcing alternatives that enhance business performance.
• Support sourcing needs in other categories on an as-needed basis as directed by leadership.
Requirements
• Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience: 3+ years experience in Procurement, IT, or HR. CPSM certification highly desirable.
• Computer Skills: Microsoft Office (Excel, Visio, Word, and PowerPoint). Experience with Adobe Pro, Adobe Sign, SAP, Oracle, ServiceNow, Workday, Taulia, Okta, Coupa, and/or Flexera is a plus.
• Communication Skills: Must demonstrate strong verbal and written skills. Must be able to influence team and cross functional leaders. Must be able to engage/inform senior level management in procurement on a regular basis.
• Special Skills: Experience in developing long-term business strategies and running complex sourcing events. Recognized as an established expert in respective field. Develops and executes strategy that aligns function with organizational goals and generates results that will have a positive impact on the function/business unit.
• Supervisory: Demonstrated ability to influence without positional authority.
• Travel: May require travel up to 6 or more domestic trips per year.
