SUMMARY:
Tyson’s Specialized Regulatory law group is seeking to add a Corporate Counsel to our team. This position is responsible for advising the business and providing legal counsel on a variety of regulatory matters with an emphasis on areas including health and safety, security, transportation, and global trade and export. This position will be responsible for providing regulatory support for federal and state compliance and enforcement issues. Candidates should have experience engaging with state and federal regulators. Candidates should also be well-equipped to digest and provide counsel on complex legal concepts, practices, and procedures.
All candidates must be able to work collaboratively. Candidates must exhibit the executive presence, forward thinking, competence, and professionalism needed to earn the trust of members of the company’s senior management team.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Law degree from an accredited law school and a license to practice law in at least one jurisdiction.
Experience: 4 plus years of legal experience or equivalent combination of experience, specialized certification, licensure or advanced degree.
Computer Skills: Standard computer skills.
Communication Skills: Superior written and verbal communication skills.
Special Skills: A team player who effectively communicates with and responds to clients in a timely manner. Must work independently and exercise excellent judgment in performing all tasks.
Travel: Some travel may be required.
Location: Springdale, Arkansas (Corporate headquarters, onsite)
