Job Details:
Responsibility: This Team Member is responsible for maintaining the scale house system, which includes entering data into a computer, printing and recording weigh tickets for incoming and outgoing trucks, as well as performing lot checks when applicable. The Scale House Attendant will be expected to operate a computer, work in a high traffic environment, and capture weights for various trailers (i.e., incoming, outgoing, empty weights, farm, shrink, final weights). The Team Member will be required key information in the scale house management system and is required to enter information on the scale house manifest sheet, Scale house incoming load sheet, and drivers schedule. This Team Member will be required to answer the phone at the scale house and will be required to notify Management and USDA of lot changes. This position will be required to rotate to other positions to cover should there be absenteeism. This position will report any issues observed with plant management and maintenance. Other job duties may be assigned by supervisor.
Schedule: M-F, occasional Saturday starting to 12:30pm
Requirements:
Utilize the Scale House computer and all associated equipment.
Communicate using radio and phone to drivers, live receiving/evisceration supervision, USDA, and J.B. Hunt driver management
This TM will notify plant supervision and USDA when any Lot changes happen.
Inspect the live cages upon arrival for any damaged modules and inform live receiving management if they are.

This position is slated for team members who are currently working at this facility or complex only.
