Job Details:
- sample and data collection at production facilities in support of:
- multi-hurdle intervention evaluations in meat and poultry products
- troubleshooting food safety and food quality opportunities
- process and product development and improvement
- analyze, summarize, and report out data associated with data/sample collection
- assist in quality system and food safety audits
- assist in roll out of and installation of new technologies or new products at production facilities
- assist in other FSQA projects as assigned or needed
- Education: University level studies in Poultry Science, Food Science, Meat Science, Biology, Chemistry or other related discipline with at least one year of school remaining. (Junior or Senior with a 3.0 GPA)
- Experience: Previous laboratory, food safety and quality, and/or research and development experience is a plus
- Communication: Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Computer skills: Intermediate computer skills including statistical data analysis. Experience with Microsoft Office tools, and willingness to learn enterprise-wide software
- Travel: Extensive travel to production facilities may be required
- Work Shift: 1st Shift, but may require work across shifts 1, 2 and 3.
