Job Details:

This position will be onsite at our Tyson on Thompson location in Springdale, AR.

Job Summary:

The Director Total Rewards will partner with the Head of Total Rewards to facilitate the strategic direction, design, and implementation of the organization’s global compensation, benefits, recognition, and well-being programs. This role is critical in ensuring that our holistic total rewards offerings are competitive, equitable, and aligned with the company's business objectives and culture.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the alignment of the strategies of all elements of Total Rewards, (Benefits, Compensation, Wellbeing, Employee Assistance Programs, Recognition) and that they are in support of Tyson Foods' business goals
  • Lead the development of requirements for Total Rewards-related analytical tools, reports and dashboards to drive desired business outcomes
  • Consolidate and monitor financial performance of corporate investments in Total Rewards
  • Host workshop and thought leadership sessions for Total Rewards team
  • Develop plans to execute the implementation of employee benefits and compensation strategies in manner that recognizes the needs of our diverse team members population
  • Ensure total rewards programs are competitive, cost-effective, and compliant with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate directly with HR, Operations and other key stakeholders to understand holistic total rewards needs and provide strategic guidance to accomplish business objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of total rewards programs and make data-driven recommendations for improvements.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a directly related field.

Work Experience:

10 years of experience with a minimum of 8 years of experience in total rewards, compensation, or benefits. Actuary and consulting experience with total rewards programs preferred.

Communication:

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organization.

Licensure, Registration and/or Certification:

Advanced certification, such as CCP, CEBS, or advanced degree preferred.

Special Job Competencies:

Strong knowledge of compensation and benefits principles, practices, and regulations. Proven experience in designing and implementing total rewards strategies that drive business results. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions. Proven ability to lead complex projects, manage competing priorities, and deliver results.
