Summary:
This position will be a critical part of the Foodservice Non-Commercial Revenue Management team. The Analyst will report into the Sr. Manager, Non-Commercial and support customer pricing/margin activities and analytical insights to achieve business goals. This role will help identify and develop pricing strategies, build sales analytics, and enhance operational support to facilitate decisions to be made by the Sr. Manager and Manager. The Analyst will work closely with Sales, BU, and Revenue Management teams to understand the go-to-market strategy around key categories of the portfolio. Also includes providing ad-hoc reports/analysis to support sales initiatives and outline customer value proposition.
Job Responsibilities:
Implement monthly and quarterly pricing for operator accounts.
Partner with sales teams to communicate pricing actions, resolve pricing issues, and improve operational efficiency.
Create and maintain programs in both internal and external trade systems to ensure correct customer pricing and rebates.
Work with the Trade Payables team to resolve billback issues as needed
Quantify and track trade synergies and spend efficiencies.
Develop and share best practices.
Assist Non-Commercial Sr. Manager and Manager in the development of customer and product specific profit and loss statements for new business opportunities as needed.
Manage National Price List customization and storage for Non-Commercial team to meet pricing mechanic needs
Qualifications:
B.S. in Finance, Business, Accounting or equivalent
1+ years of previous financial or business experience preferred
Advance skills in Microsoft Excel, Word and Access. Familiar with advanced formulas, pivot tables, database query design
Advanced system knowledge working with Forge, SAP, Power BI a plus
Strong analytics and financial acumen
Strong communications skills - both verbal and written
Excellent customer service/people skills required
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload
Detail orientated with strong problem-solving skills
Foodservice industry experience a plus
Demonstrated capability of maximizing reporting applications
Ability to work in a matrix organization
