SUMMARY:

The Corporate Finance Intern role is an entry level position that will be participating in various activities with FP&A, Accounting, Investor Relations, Executive leadership, Segment Finance leaders, Strategy, Business Intelligence, and Data Analytics. Your responsibilities will include assisting in internal reporting of company financials, calculating Tyson's Weighted Average Cost of Capital (WACC), compiling analyst research, market data research on our Bloomberg terminal/S&P’s Capital IQ, industry research, and ad hoc requests along with other development opportunities. All the above activities are performed with an ownership mindset in a team environment demonstrating close collaboration within the Finance & Accounting teams and with cross- functional partners.

Please Note: This role is a year-round opportunity that requires the selected candidate to work 15 – 20 hours per week during the school year, and as many as 40 hours per week during the summer. This role also requires the selected candidate to work in office at Tyson Foods’ Springdale, AR World Headquarters.

Requirements:

Education: Incoming junior, senior or MBA with at least one year of school remaining. Accounting, Finance, Data Analytics, Information Systems or Business majors required.

Experience: Previous work experience in any field.

Computer Skills: Strong computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Familiarity with Power BI, S&P Capital IQ, and AI platforms including Copilot and ChatGPT is a plus.

Special Skills: Ability to multitask; motivated self-starter; research and learning; critical thinking.

Position-Specific Requirements: This internship is a year-round role where candidates are expected to work part time (20 hours/week) during the school year and full-time (40 hours per week) This is a year-round paid internship located at our Springdale, Arkansas World Headquarters.

Location: Students must be within commutable distance to the facility, which is 60 miles or less.
