Summary:
Marketing Analytics is a key driver of Tyson Foods’ growth strategy, enabling better, faster, and more data-driven decisions across Sales, Marketing, Innovation, and the broader business. This role will lead the creation, management, and continuous improvement of enterprise-level analytics dashboards and tools, with a focus on syndicated data (Nielsen, Circana, etc.), internal performance metrics, and emerging AI solutions across all Bus of Tyson Foods.
The Manager, Marketing Analytics, will be responsible for translating complex data into clear, actionable insights through Power BI dashboards, automation tools, and Gen AI applications. They will partner closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, develop scalable solutions, and ensure stakeholders have timely access to the information they need to drive growth.
In-person role based in Springdale, AR – Not eligible for remote or hybrid work.
Preference will be given to candidates within a 50 mile radius of the posted location. If no local candidate is selected, we will review regional candidates.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead dashboard development – Build, maintain, and enhance the Enterprise Power BI dashboard leveraging syndicated and internal data sources to provide a unified view of brand and category performance.
- Develop internal analytics tools – Create and manage tools that enable brand, marketing, and analytics teams to quickly identify performance drivers and opportunities.
- Engage cross-functional teams – Work with stakeholders across Business Units, Analytics, Innovation, Category, and other functions to gather requirements, prioritize needs, and deliver tailored solutions.
- Translate data into decisions – Ensure all dashboards and reports deliver clear, actionable insights that guide strategy, not just display numbers.
- Business impact focus – Go beyond reporting metrics to tell the “so what” story behind the data, with practical recommendations for stakeholders.
- Integrate Generative AI solutions – Design and deploy AI-powered tools and capabilities to streamline reporting, automate analysis, and address key business questions.
- Drive data quality & adoption – Ensure data integrity, usability, and consistent usage across the enterprise, champion best practices in analytics and reporting.
Qualifications:
Education:
- BA/BS in Analytics, Data Science, Business, Marketing, or related field required. Masters preferred.
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in analytics, data visualization, or business intelligence in a CPG or similar data-rich environment.
- Strong background in Power BI development, data modeling, and dashboard automation.
- Experience with syndicated data sources such as Nielsen, Circana, IRI, or equivalent.
- Proven ability to engage stakeholders, translate needs into solutions, and drive adoption.
Special Skills:
- Proficiency in DAX, Power Query, and data modeling in Power BI.
- Familiarity with SQL, Python, or other analytics programming languages a plus.
- Experience designing analytics tools for end-user teams (sales, marketing, category management, etc.).
- Understanding of AI/ML applications in business reporting and analysis is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to turn data into clear, actionable narratives.
- Highly organized, collaborative, and able to manage multiple priorities.
