Summary:
This position will assist the Law Department of Tyson Foods, Inc. (Company) in a wide variety of practice areas at the Company’s world headquarters in Springdale, Arkansas. This internship offers an excellent opportunity for hands-on experience in a corporate law department and to contribute to meaningful projects. The intern will work closely with the Law Department’s paralegals, Ethics Investigations team, and Compliance team to support ongoing initiatives and gain valuable insights into the legal profession. The intern will also have the opportunity to support the Company’s in-house counsel in employment, labor, environmental, commercial litigation, regulatory enforcement, real estate and contracting as projects and timing permits.
Requirements:
Education: Currently enrolled in a college or university with a strong interest in the legal field with at least one semester of school remaining.
Experience: Office experience preferred. None required.
Computer skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with a broad range of stakeholders.
Special skills: Candidate must possess good judgment, the capability to work independently with oversight from multiple attorneys, and comfort with collaboration.
Travel: No travel anticipated.
This position is in-person; not remote or hybrid.
