Summary: The position within the Product Management Team focuses on Retail Value Added Poultry and plays a crucial role in achieving both current and long-term volume and financial objectives. This role involves detailed analysis and management of volume, profit, and spending targets.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and quoting pricing for the field sales team, considering raw material availability and line capacity.
- Maintain and utilize customer pricing models based on volume and product mix.
- Collaborate with product management, production planning, and sales teams to implement and maintain annual customer sales plans, including both base and incremental volume.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of raw material markets and meat costs.
- Maintain and report weekly market results and forecasts.
- Collect and analyze market data to determine quarterly market projections for financial planning.
- Advise the field sales team and product management on market trends and raw material outlook.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of marketing experience.
- Computer Skills: Basic computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
