Job Details:


The primary objective of this role is to drive growth in EBIT and sales volume for the Fresh Poultry business. This includes managing Return on Sales (ROS), inventory levels, and other strategic targets set by the Senior Director of Margin Management. The position plays a key role in supporting Tyson Foods’ long-term profitability by facilitating initiatives that improve performance across designated product lines and parts categories.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead efforts to achieve sales and profit goals across assigned Fresh Poultry product lines, ensuring sustainable growth and margin improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with Brand Management to oversee all aspects of product performance, including new product feasibility, inventory and fill rate optimization, packaging, distribution, market velocity, cost control, and overall profitability.
  • Directly manage all Fresh Poultry packaging components—including pre-printed film, bags, corrugate, and master cases—ensuring alignment with operational needs and strategic objectives.
  • Ensure consistency between written product specifications, finished goods standards, and customer expectations.
  • Support the development and reformulation of products and oversee the execution of an integrated margin management strategy.
  • Understand and apply pricing strategy principles while coordinating new product launches with cross-functional teams.
  • Deliver training and guidance to both internal teams and external partners and assist Brand Management in problem resolution and customer complaint handling.
  • Manage available inventory effectively and adapt to emerging business needs and priorities.
  • Serve as the principal Project Manager for all Fresh Poultry Margin Management initiatives—ensuring alignment, execution, and communication of all margin-accretive strategies across the team.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or formal project management experience preferred

Experience: 4–6 years in a related field

Computer Skills: Advanced proficiency in computer and internet-based applications

Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential

Travel: Requires 4 to 11 business trips annually

Supervisory Responsibilities: Manages a team responsible for related or overlapping tasks
