Summary:

This position will be a critical part of the Foodservice Prepared Foods Revenue Management team. The Sr. Analyst will report to the Manager – Revenue Management and support customer pricing margin activities and analytical insights to achieve business goals. This role will utilize data to support the revenue management team in the development of pricing and trade strategies. The Sr. Analyst will work closely with the business operations team, customer pricing, customer category, sales and finance teams to understand the go-to-market strategy around key categories of the portfolio. Also includes providing ad-hoc reporting analysis to support revenue management initiatives and outline customer value propositions.

Responsibilities: Develop and execute analytic reports to support the overall prepared foods revenue management team in decision making and profitability improvement. Develop and implement monthly and quarterly pricing and trade programs for corporate distributor accounts. Provide data to support analyzing promotional spending from a category and customer perspective. Partner with sales teams to communicate pricing actions to resolve pricing issues and improve operational efficiency. Support trade analytics and execute trade program management. Monitor weekly deduction balances and work cross-functionally to reduce balance. Quantify and track trade synergies and spend efficiencies. Understand and leverage customer financial and operational dynamics. Collaborate with key cross functional partners to conduct promotion analysis, review results and develop recommendations to maximize trade return on investment.

Qualifications:

Education: B.S. in Finance Business Accounting or equivalent. 2-4 years of previous financial or business experience.

Computer skills: Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and reporting packages. Familiar with advanced formulas and pivot tables as well as reporting design. Advanced system knowledge working with Forge, SAP, Webi, Power BI and other reporting packages helpful. Strong analytics and financial acumen.

Communication Skills: Strong communications skills - both verbal and written. Excellent customer service people skills required. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload. Detail and process orientated with self-starter and strong problem-solving skills. Foodservice industry experience a plus. Demonstrated capability of maximizing reporting applications. Ability to work in a matrix organization.
