Job Details:

SUMMARY: This position is responsible for managing and facilitating the maintenance requirements for the private fleet terminals.

Responsibilities:

  • Scheduling and executing preventive maintenance for the fleet.
  • Communicate and document driver write-ups.
  • Coordinate repair over the road breakdowns and wrecks Financial responsibility for specific terminal maintenance cost.
  • Conduct quarterly meetings with terminal managers outlining major opportunities for improvement.
  • The successful position holder will engage in daily communication with our vendors drivers shops and operations team to effectively maintain our equipment to optimum performance.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Bachelor's degree preferred or industry experience.

Experience: 3 plus years of experience; mechanical experience preferred.

Computer Skills: Standard computer skills required SAP experience preferred.

Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Special Skills: Specialized knowledge of truck and trailer mechanical systems.

Supervisory: None.

Travel: 1 or 2 times annually.
