Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00am - production end
Starting pay rate: $16.25/hr
Functions
- To maintain and promote the Tyson safety culture
- Receive training as required
- Perform various positions as required/assigned
Description
The primary goal is to grade product to ensure that they are clean and free from miscuts, bruises, and contamination.
• Must be able to sort defected product from the conveyor belt.
• Must be able to make tote bins.
• Must be able to do other duties as assigned
Physical Demands:
• Must be able to get onto a stand to perform job task
• Must be able to do repetitive motions with the hands and shoulders to perform the job tasks daily
• Must be able to reach, grip, and lift
• Must be able to stand approximately 8 hours a day
Environmental Factors:
• Must be able to work in the cold and wet environment
• Must be able to work in other environmental conditions such as: humid, wet, dry, and slippery
• Must be able to bend, turn and use both hands continuously
• This is a non-rotating position from this area, but will be able to rotate on the line itself

This facility accepts rehires after 180 days and only if the applicant has not worked more than two previous times for Tyson. Tyson reserves the right to require longer waiting periods or not accept rehires based on the reason for dismissal.
